God & Country Day

Our God & Country Day is scheduled for Sunday, July 6th. We will be honoring Veterans & Active Duty, First Responders and Government Leaders. We will also have a pitch-in lunch in the gym following the morning service, approximately around noon.

We have guest speakers, Dr. Charles Harding and Dr. Don Chitty speaking in our services. Dr Harding will be speaking in a combined Sunday school at 9:30 am, as well as the morning service at 10:30 am. Dr. Chitty will be speaking in our special 1:15 pm service. There will not be a 6:00 pm evening service.

Dr. Harding is the founder of Mission to America, an organization designed to EDUCATE Americans about our nation’s rich Christian heritage, to encourage us to responsibly ENGAGE in our political process in order to preserve our rights and liberties as American citizens, and to ENCOURAGE our elected representatives as they labor in governing this great nation.  He is a constant presence in the halls of Congress and has forged remarkable relationships with our nation’s leaders.  He is one of the most engaging speakers you will ever encounter.

Dr. Chitty is a Vietnam veteran in the United States Marine Corps 1st Marine Division Force Recon.  With a survival rate lower than normal for Vietnam, his unique mission placed him in constant mortal danger, and he overcame unbelievable odds in defying death on multiple occasions.  In serving 2 tours, his many decorations include the Bronze Star with “V” device and 12 Purple Hearts.  His testimony after the war is captivating as God maneuvered him to minister to the Navajo Indians where he met, befriended, and even pastored many of the original Code Talkers of WWII.  He has served as a Missionary to the Navajo Indian Nation in Waterflow, NM since 1975.
