This summer we will be going through the Bible study of “Facing Your Fears with Faith” By Juanita Purcell. The cost of the book is $10 and can be paid through the offering. Each Bible study event will be a different pitch-in, and held in the homes of some of the ladies.

Schedule:

June 13th at 6:30 pm: the home of Laurie Burtner; Topic: Fear That Comes with Discontentment; Sides & Dessert Pitch-in, pulled pork will be provided.

June 27th at 6:30 pm: the home of Jean Coppock; Topic: Fear That Comes with Financial Loss; Finger food pitch-in.

July 16th at 10:00 am: In the church chapel; We’ll be covering 2 topics that day. Topics: Fear that Comes with Broken Relationships and Fear that comes with Bitterness; Brunch Pitch-in; Prayer time following.

July 25th at 6:30 pm: the home of Dianna Connelly; Topic: Fear that comes with Fiery Trials; Finger food pitch-in.

August 1st at 6:30 pm: the home of Mary Pfender; Topic: Fear that comes with Depression; Finger food pitch-in.

Sunday, June 12th, following the evening service is a College & Career Sunday school class activity in the school gym. Please see Jean or Al Coppock if you have questions.

Sunday, June 12th is Promotion Sunday for our children’s Sunday school program!

Saturday, June 11th at 8:00 am is the Teen Camp Yard Sale Fundraiser in the church parking lot. We have furniture, office furniture, cricket supplies, toys, games and so much more miscellaneous items! There will also be food and drinks!

All proceeds will go to help send our youth to summer camp!

Sunday, April 24th Eric Miller will be speaking in our adult Sunday school classes and the morning service.

April 21st is Suburban Christian Schools Jr./Sr. Banquet. This year’s banquet will be held at Greenwood Bible Baptist Church. Contact the school office at 317-888-3366 for more information.

 To prepare for our Resurrection Service on Sunday, April 17th, the whole church is invited to our Easter Blitz on Saturday, April 9th.  Come out and have some coffee & donuts at 10:00am, then help us “blitz” our community with the Gospel and a special Easter Invitation.

 **We also need candy & coins for our annual Treasure Hunt on Easter morning.

Friday, April 29th at 7:00 pm the students of Suburban Christian School will be performing the play, Disorder in the Court, Directed by Tammy Green.

Saturday, April 30th at 5:00 pm the students of Suburban Christian School will be performing the play, Disorder in the Court, Directed by Tammy Green.

Friday, April 22nd is the Jr High FABA Competition. There will not be any classes that day for the students. If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 317.888.3366.

Monday, April 11th at 6:30 pm, the ladies will be meeting at The Metro Diner for dinner. Please sign up in the lobby if you plan to attend. We’ll need to give them an accurate headcount for seating a large group.
